Ground Floor Frames Started

We popped in this morning after dropping off the girls at school, so that we could see the frames in the daylight, and it seems the carpenters had already been at it for a couple of hours as most of the ground floor frames had been put up.

I quizzed the guys on when the remainder of the frames for the 1st floor and the steel beams for the Alfresco would arrive and they said that because access to our site was now difficult, the remaining pieces would be delivered in stages, with the steel beams hopefully arriving later today as they couldn't go much further without these.

When we popped in this evening after picking up the girls from school, we noticed that the steel beams hadn't arrived yet.  So, it looks like the carpenters might have to move on to another job if they can't go any further with ours.
